Serve

Our July 2nd Sunday partner is Neighborhood Outreach Connection. Items needed include: school notebooks, markers, crayons, dry erase markers, flash cards, pencil boxes, organization boxes, workbooks, Swiffer mop refills, magic erasers, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, cleaning spray, bathroom cleaner, and hand soap. They are also in need of a large circular rug like this or this. It would be a great opportunity for a small group to split the cost or divide the cost amongst a few of your friends! Drop off donations on Sundays or at the Community Center: Monday - Thursday, 9a - 4p.

VOLUNTEERS! The NOC can always use volunteers as tutors to help with reading, language arts, and math for grades K-8. In the summer on HHI, they have two locations, one at St. Luke's Church and one at New Oaks behind Dunkin Donuts. The classes are from 9a-12p, so one hour of that time would be fantastic. The more one-on-one support they can provide, the better chance the students have of getting ahead or being prepared for the next school year. If you're interested in volunteering, please call their office at 843-681-4100.
