Island Kidz

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."  Matthew 19:14

Our goal in Island Kidz is to create a safe and fun environment so your child can learn about Jesus on a level that will create a great memory in their life and ultimately encourage them to follow Jesus.

SAFETY:
All of our Island Kidz volunteers are required to have a background check and are trained to invest in the spiritual life of your child. We also require that each family checks in through our secure check-in stations located in our Kids Ministry Lobby.

FUN:
Who says learning about Jesus has to be boring! We provide fun activities and creative Bible lessons that will make learning about Jesus come alive and give each kid something that they can talk about all week long.

LEARNNG:
We believe in the ORANGE Philosophy for ages 0 -18 at HHICC. This stands for HOME (RED) + CHURCH (YELLOW) = ORANGE. We provide multi-media lessons each week on Sundays. Each lesson comes with a main Bible point and helps answer that week’s big question and gives every family something to talk about at home during the week.

GROWING:
We offer age-appropriate lessons every Sunday morning for kids up to 5th grade at both 9:30a and 11:00a. We offer Kid Small Groups every Wednesday during the school year from  6:00 - 7:30p for ages 5-11. We offer childcare for ages 0-4 on Wednesdays. We dive deeper into the Bible while learning scripture and skills that every child will use in their daily life.

EVENTS:
Making memories sometimes means celebrating special things in BIG WAYS. From Easter to summer, from Christmas to family events throughout the year, we make these events fun for the whole family.
